The books for sale on our website are written by members of The Sultana Association. All proceeds from the sale of books on The Sultana Association, beyond the cost of the book and shipping, will be donated by the authors to The Sultana Association. All books are signed by the author with a personalized note for you.
Memphis-based attorney Jerry Potter published his book, The Sultana Tragedy: America's Greatest Maritime Disaster in 1992. The book is thoroughly researched and details the tragedy of the Sultana, which exploded on April 27, 1865 near Potter's hometown of Memphis.
Gene Salecker's new book will be published in May 2021 and be available for sale on this website. Check back to purchase it and help the Association as well!
